Mercy Johnson Okojie, popularly known as Mercy Johnson, a native of Okene Town of Kogi State of Nigeria and a Nigerian actress, was born in Lagos on August 28, 1984. Mercy Johnson came from
a family of seven and like many other Nigerian families, had a difficult time affording the necessities of life. In fact Mercy Johnson revealed that payment of her school fees was really very difficult to the extent that she had to even work as a housemaid at a time.
Through hardwork and determination, Mercy Johnson had to get into the Nigerian movie industry after she failed to make her University entrance examination. Today Mercy Johnson has featured in over 100 movies, and is happily married.
Mercy Johnson is married to Prince Odianosen Okojie- an indigene of Edo State and they are blessed with two kids, a girl and a boy.
Mercy Johnson has won several awards including: The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards 2013, Best Actress Award and many others.
Mercy Johnson is a joy to behold on screen because she makes every script she acts come alive. She is highly talented and very creative.
