Azubuike Chibuzo Nelson popularly known as Phyno which is coined out of the word ?phenomenal?, a nickname that has stuck to him since his high school days is a name he now uses as his stage name.
Phyno was born on October 9, 1986 at Enugu State, Nigeria. He studied Public Administration at the Institute of Management and Technology(IMT) in Enugu State. Phyno is a Nigerian Rapper and Producer who does most of his rapping in the Igbo Language and a bit of Nigerian pidgin and English.
Phyno?s love for music began as far back as his secondary school days where he learnt how to play the drums and piano. He bagan his musical career as a producer in 2003 but however started rapping in 2010.
Phyno has done collabs with artist such as Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Ruggedman, Flavour, Timaya and some others. He also has several hit singles that has won him some outstanding awards.
In August 2014, Phyno however became one of Guiness Nigeria?s ambassador in their made in black campaign alongside with Olamide and Eva Alordiah.
