Abiola Ajimobi, a former senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria, was born on December 16, 1949.
Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi?s earliest education was at St. Patrick?s Primary School, Abebi. After his
primary education, Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi attended Lagelu Grammar School. After his secondary school, Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi traveled to the United States of America. There, he studied Business Administration and Finance, and also did his Masters in Operations Research and Marketing.
Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi worked in the following places: as a Certified Underwriter at an Equitable Life Assurance Corporation USA; Management and Industrial Consulting firm in Nigeria; Modulor Group; Nestle Foods PLC. National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company. In the year 2003, Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi was elected a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In the year 2007, Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi contested for the position of the governor of Oyo State but failed. However, not deterred, in the May 2011 gubernatorial elections, he contested again and won.
He was again re-elected as a Governor in the 2015 elections under the platform of the All Progressive Congress.(APC).
