Biography
Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was born on April 4, 1962. He is a native of Gombe town of Gombe State.
Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo studied at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria between the years 1981 and
1985, where he obtained a degree in Accounting. He had his Masters Degree in Economics from Univeristy of Lagos.
Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo worked at Coopers and Lybrand International (Chartered Accountants). Between the years 1988 and 1999, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was a staff of Central Bank of Nigeria. In the year 1999, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was appointed the Accountant-General of Gombe State. On April 20, 2005, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo became the Accountant ?General of the Federation.
On April 26, 2011, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo was elected the Governor of Gombe Sate.
In the 2015 Governorship elections he was again re-elected as the Governor under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.(PDP).
