Mr. Kure Martin Abeshi is an indigene of Nasarawa State, in the north central zone of Nigeria. He has a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
He joined the Nigerian Immigration Service in 1989 as an Assistant Comptroller. Over the years he grew in rank.
Mr. Kure Martin Abeshi was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on August 27, 2015 as the Comptroller-General of Immigration.
Prior to his appointment, David Parradang who was the Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration service was suspended on August 21, 2015 by President Buhari.
