Bayode Apata Akinwumi, also known as D ROCK is a Nigerian Blogger, Singer Singer and Writer. He is the founder of takemetonaija.com an online platform for
biographical account of Nigerian history and Nigerian people.D Rock started being an internet active user around 2009 even though he became conscious of the internet in the year 2007. In the year 2010, D Rock created blogs and mobile wapsites for his friends at school, in town, on Facebook and others.
Between the years 2011 and 2012, D Rock floated a wapsite he named codedguyz.muf.mobi and later changed the name to www.codedpals.tk. This wapsites gained him some fame and income online.
In the year 2012, Bayode started composing songs owing to the fact that he has a lot of love for music.
In the year 2013, Bayode floated ww.naijaeye.tk, a website with which he officially launched himself into blogging. Sooner, the site started garnering word over 19,000 daily unique visitors just within few months of being floated. The site dealt on Nigerian gist, news and celebrities and partially adult contents. After a while, Bayode changed the domain name of the site from www.naijaeye.tk to www.naijaeye.net and moved the same to a blogspot.com. This action automatically decreased site?s daily unique visitors.
In the year 2013 D Rock organized a beauty competition for both Men and women on www.naijaeye.net in which winners earned 3,500N each. D? Rocks main source of income on the website was from Ireporterstv and Openadnation.
Currently, Bayode have shut down naijaeye.net and floated the T.I.N Magazine, a website that is doing marvelously well in the niche of Nigerian Biographical account.
