Adeola Olumeyan is the Company?s Secretary and head of the Legal department at Channels Television.
Adeola had her University Education at the Lagos State University where she graduated with a degree in Law. She was thereafter called to the Nigerian Bar as a solicitor and Advocate of Nigeria. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigerian International Franchise Association (NIFA), and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA).
Prior to joining the Channels TV team, Adeola Olumeyan managed the portfolios of and rendered legal advisory services to several Companies. Her area of specialization includes corporate and commercial law practice, litigation, intellectual property and real property.
At Channels Television, her various job functions include ensuring legal compliance, corporate filings, brand management, developing strategic legal Agreements for the various business relationships the Company may be involved in, due diligence matters and legal advisory services.
She has spoken and written both internationally and locally on trademark practice in Nigeria and has served in various leadership capacities of the International Trademark Association (INTA), where she was until recently, the first Nigerian to hold the position of Subcommittee Chair of the Association?s Legislation and Regulation Committee (LRC) for the Middle East, South Asia and Africa regions.
She has as her hobbies, reading of interesting literature, listening to good music, swimming and visiting of orphanages.
