Chioma ElizabethToplis, is a Nigerian Actress. she was born on November 14, 1972. She is a native of Umuahia, in Abia State, Nigeria.
Between 1979 to 1985, she did her primary school education at several schools: St Michaels Primary School Umuahia, Orji Town Primary School Owerri, Umuhu Central School, Umuahia and 67 Infantry Battalion Primary School Faulks Road, Aba. Between 1985 to 1990 she schooled at Ohuhu Community Secondary School Amaogwugwu, Umuahia. When she left Nigeria and lived several years in London, she started at Valentine High School to study English Language and later enrolled at Barking and Dagenham College in 2003 to study Social Healthcare.
She is related to another popular Nollywood actor and past President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejike Asiegbu.
Toplis began her acting career when she first appeared in the successful 2004 movie Stolen Bible. She had her breakthrough in the nollywood industry at Her lead role appearance in the 2005 film titled Trinity with top actors and actresses like Hanks Anuku, Val Nwigwe and Oge Okoye.
Chioma Toplis is married to a whiteman, Andrew Toplis and they are blessed with three children. She has residence in London, United Kingdom and on Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
She also has interest in charity as she is involved in the project Home For The Elderly
