Oron/Mbo/Okobo/UrueOffong/Oruko/Udung-Uko Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State under the plat form of the Peoples Democratic Party.He attended St. Vincent Secondary School oti-obor and obtained West African School Certificate in 1983. Thereafter, he gained admission into the Abia State Politechnic, where he gained the National Diploma (ND) certificate in 2011.
After his University education, Nse Bassey Ekpenyong became the Managing Director of Based/Investment Trust Co Nigeria Ltd. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Brule Integrated Nigeria Ltd.
Ekpenyong later joined politics and became the Akwa Ibom State Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party. He was later elected member of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
In the year 2015, Nse Bassey Ekpenyong was elected into the Federal House of Representatives as a member representing Oron/Mbo/Okobo/UrueOffong/Oruko/Udung-Uko Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State under the plat form of the Peoples Democratic Party.
