Olisa Agbakoba (S.A.N) is an indigene of Anambra State Nigeria, born on May 29, 1953 in Jos Plateau State. He had his primary school in Zixton Public Schhool Ozubulu, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate in 1964. Olisa Agbakoba proceeded to Hill Crest School, a predominantly white school, where he had his secondary education and obtained his West African School Certificate in the year 1973. After his Secondary school, Olisa Agbakoba got admission to study Law in University of
Nigeria, Nsukka, where he also graduated in 1977. In 1978, he was called to bar. After his call to bar, he went to London where he did his Masters in Maritime Law.
