Biography of Lam Adesina

State of Nigeria from May 29 1999 under the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) party, and has been listed among the WhosWho Oyo State by Nigerian Biography.Lam Adesina attended Loyola college in Ibadan for his secondary education. After that, he gained admission into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he studied from 1961?1963. He later also studied at the university of Ibadan where he graduated in 1971.
Lamidi Ona-Olapo Adesina became an educationist in private educational institutions, where he worked for some times before entering politics.
Adesina was a friend of Abiola Ajimobi, whom it was alleged he sponsored his election as a Senator representing Oyo South in 2003. Later the two men had a strained relationship which led to Ajimobi moving to the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).
However, in October 2009 the two became leaders of the Action Congress (Nigeria) (AC) party after reconciliation.
Lam Adesina reportedly died on November 11, 2012 at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos Island. The cause of his death was said to be related to diabetes, from which he had suffered for some time.
