Rose Okoji Oko was born on September 27, 1956. She is an indigene of Cross River State.
She attended Holy Child Secondary School, Ogoja and completed in 1974. She proceeded to Federal Scool of Arts and Science where she finished in 1976. For her University Education, she attended the University of Calabar where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics. She had her Masters in the same University in 1984 but however attended the University of Portharcourt, where she obtained her PhD in 1990.
Prior to becoming a senator, she was a University lecturer and later became a Commissioner in Cross River State.
Rose Okoji Oko is the senator representing Cross River North constituency. She has as her target, enhancing legislation in Education.
