Irepodun/Olurunda/Osogbo/Orolu Federal Constituency of Osun State of Nigeria in the Federal House of Representative under the platform of the All Progressive Congress.Yusuf attended the Local Authority Primary School Ilobu from 1970 to December 1972. He had his secondary education at Ansar-Ud-Deen Secondary School Erin Osun. He later moved to Ifon/Erin Community High School Ifon-Osun. After his secondary education, Yusuf attended University of Ibadan where he obtained a BSc (Hons)in Mechanical Engineering.
Before he became a legislator, Usuf was the chairman of Osun State Capital Territory Development Authority.
Yusuf was first elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the year 2011, and was re-elected in 2015.
