Biography
Jude Abaga (M.I) was born on October 4, 1981 in Jos, Plateau State Nigeria. He is the son of a Pastor, native of Takum, Taraba state. M.I?s early school was at Baptist High School, Jos. M.I has
two brothers, one of which is Jesse Jagz a popular Nigerian musician.
M.I. later traveled to the United States, and schooled in Calvin College, Michigan where he pursued a career in Business Adaministration and Economics. There, he took part in major hip hop shows and school concerts. In 2003, he took the 3rd position in a Calvin College show tagged 'HipHopera'.
M.I began his full music career when he returned to Nigeria in the year 2003. He came up with a single labeled ?Safe? which earned him awards at the Nigerian Music Video Awards.
In 2013, M.I was appointed by Glo Mobile as a brand ambassador together with other Nigerian artistes like Burna Boy and Omawunmi.
M.I. have a great contribution in the making of some Nigerian artistes including Brymo, Ice Prince, Ruby, Jesse Jagz, Pype, Vypa, Wizkid, etc.
